Z-95's Origin: This all began when a couple of guys
got together to start a bootleg radio station. Perhaps someday we'll be
brave enough to feature those broadcast archives! "Z-95"
meant absolutely nothing.
All that is left of the original Z-95 is it's name. Today, Z-95 means the best quality webcasts on the net. An alternative to the corporate owned, commercial driven, 10 in a row, "we'll bribe you to listen with the chance to win $10,000" stations! You'll find our music is healthy, well balanced dose of the best music from the 80's, featuring some great milestones from the 60's and 70's plus a sprinkling of todays best music. Some stays around awhile, some doesn't! What remains is the best music of all time!Recently we discovered that this is simply too much music for one station, so we've announced "Z-95 Solid Gold" premiering in Spring 2002. Don't worry. Z-95 remains devoted to the best of yesterday and today and Z-95 ("the original", if you will) isn't going away!
